Low FODMAP foods at Woolworths and Coles

By GroceryWise · Published

Coles has a FODMAP Friendly aisle, and both Coles and Woolworths stock Fodmapped For You. This list groups low FODMAP supermarket foods in Australia by aisle, so you can take it shopping: cereal, chips and snacks, pasta, and stocks and sauces, with a note on dips and lollies.

Each product below was in Coles' FODMAP Friendly aisle, which GroceryWise lists as Low FODMAP Food, or is from the Fodmapped For You range, when we checked in October 2026. Woolworths has no FODMAP aisle in its online categories, so a product shows Woolworths when Woolworths stocks it too. The aisle and brand names are not a certification, and we haven't tested any product, so check each pack for a certification logo and its serve size. Our low FODMAP shopping guide explains both logos and what to check on a label. Names, links and stockists come from this week's prices.

Low FODMAP cereal

Oats, porridge, muesli and gluten-free breakfast cereals.

Low FODMAP chips and snacks

Corn chips (totopos) and snack bars.

Low FODMAP pasta

Pasta, noodles and pasta sauces.

Low FODMAP stocks and sauces

Broth, simmer sauces and soups. Stock cubes and powders can contain onion or garlic, so read the label.

Low FODMAP dips

We found no dips in Coles' FODMAP Friendly aisle or the Fodmapped For You range in October 2026. On a dip's label, look for garlic and onion (including garlic and onion powder), inulin and fructo-oligosaccharides (FOS): these add to a food's FODMAP load even in very small amounts. Honey is worth checking too.

Low FODMAP lollies

We found no lollies there either. On a lolly's label, look for honey, high fructose corn syrup and glucose-fructose syrup, and for polyol sweeteners: sorbitol (420), mannitol (421), maltitol (965), xylitol (967) and isomalt (953).

Both lists come from Monash University's guide to reading labels, written by its research dietitians.

Before you buy

  • Look for a Monash University or FODMAP Friendly logo on the pack.
  • Check the serve size printed with the logo: a larger serve may not be low FODMAP.
  • Read the ingredient list for garlic, onion, inulin, honey and polyol sweeteners (420, 421, 953, 965, 967).

This list is general shopping information, not medical or dietary advice. An Accredited Practising Dietitian who knows the low FODMAP diet can work out which foods suit you; Dietitians Australia has a directory to find one.
